?????

If you want "schematics", just download the PDF blueprint files that are available out there.  Go to Google and search.

Heck, there's a site/forum (can't recall which) that has tons of free prints.

Edit-
Dumb me...

5.56mmx45 is the metric (is that it?  what you're looking for?)

decible is a measurement of sound.  He wants to know how loud it is.

This is an incomplete question. The decibel's are going to be different between a straight barrel and one with a flash hider and one with a compensator and one with a brake.Decibel's are going to be different between barrel lenghth's and maybe even between barrel diameters. And the sounds are really going to change between ammunition grain loads. [:\]

My 14.5 Bushmaster shorty AK is load enough to make me drop the rifle to my waist while firing with no hearing protection. I have fired many government colt 20's and noticed a huge 'CRACK'. This was more of a 'BOOM' that tried the mettle of my soul.

I would choose this weapon last out of a Glock 19, Remington 870, and XM-15.

It is punishingly loud.

Your 14.5" Bushie is louder than a 20".  It has a shorter profile, that's the only advantage.  You loose distance and velosity.

I think generally, an AR of any type will give 160 decibels.  Barrel length and ammunintion selection will vary the sound a bit, but 160 dB is a general measurement.
