Geesh, nice grammer ponyexpress.

Sorry to hear of your trouble. I have had nothing but great service from them, as with most AR manufacturers.

How did your bolt catch break? Was it a warranty issue? Did they make you send the part back? I have seen a few bolt catches break, but none just from normal use. Lots from dry fired guns, and dropped weapons though...

First .... YOU DON'T HAVE TO YELL.
Second were you trying to buy this part from them or wanting a free bee? It is very hard to tell with your command on the English language. Anyway and whatever.

Oly sent me a replacement part ( for free ) didn't even have to ask for freebie and they knew I was not original purchaser / owner.

I would stay away from the casinos till your luck changes  :)

Wow, everyone here says that Oly's customer service is 'the heat'.  Sorry to hear that you're having problems.  It's been my experience that Bushmaster has the best customer service.

I purchased a new 9mm Oly from a board member here in Nov. I was out on public land shooting it it Feb. about 20 miles from town in the middle of nowhere. When I got home and started to clean it the extractor was broke. Had never taken the bolt apart as it only had about 200rds through it. I thought it used a snap in type extractor like a Sako(stupid me). Anyway I called Oly to order replacement. The part would be under warranty if I could find all the pieces. They said to see if it was a manufacturing flaw. It broke in a short time so I would call it a FLAW. Anyway I wasn't going to drive 20 miles and dig through snow and try and find it as I didn't know if it broke there or not because Oly stated that it might still function without extractor because it was blowback.

After I recieved the $14.00 part(not under warranty)and seen how it was manufactured and took bolt apart the back end and pin were still there but damn sure wasn't going to spend more money to see about replacement. Figured then they would want all of it to see if it was "A MANUFACTURING FLAW". Have no problems with quality and FTF once in a while so probably will never buy another just because they cannot replace a $14.00 part on a $800 firearm because owner doesn't have all the pieces.

I had a friend who once had that problem.  His solution was to place the remaining parts in an envelope.  Ruff it up good. Push the smallest part thru the resultant hole.  Add extra postage-

Walla-new part via return mail

Oly:  Does it shoot??

Caller:  Yea, but the hammer is off set.

Oly:  If it shoots, there is nop problem.  We don't warrnetee that.

Caller:  You got to be kidding?

Oly: It is a serial nuimber part, once you buy it it is yours.

Caller: Son of bitch.  see if I buy anything from you guys again.

Oly: Silence.
