Put an ad up for trade. But, if anyone is looking to swap their non-pinned & welded URGI upper for my Pinned & welded, let me know!
Still need to find that NSN charging handle, i feel like i saw them all over the place for sale & now I can't find one anywhere. |

Hey all, at one point I had the 10.3 and 14.5 URGI (near clone). Bought in 2018 during the Geissele sales, what were they like $1000 each?
I sold them for $1350 (14.5) and $1300 for the 10.3 (no one wants the 10.3 so threw in the warden). I loved them and they were my go-to's but needed to raise $5k super fast for a deal that fell through (I got hosed). Sold my Colt M4 lower for $700...UGH...really regret that to be honest but life goes on. So now I'm back and I want the 11.5! The 14.5 was a sweet shooter but a little too long for me, the way I like my rifles, duty size doesn't fit my needs very well and I'm in an area where Ill never shoot past 200 meters, ever (50-100 meter ranges). The 10.3 was my girl, she came everywhere with me for 2+ yrs in a tennis case. But now is the time to embrace the benefits of that "dwell time" haha. I'm wondering, SOCOM is using the 14.5's and they are not using the 10.3 but are they using the 11.5? Why doesn't Geissele offer a 11.5 URGI, they offer a "super duty" but thats not URGI. Super duty is Geissele brand barrels and I want Daniel Defense! I want a "correct" 11.5 URGI upper, if I cant have it I may get a Colt HRT 11.5 clone but I would like the URGI if at all possible. Are you guys building the 11.5 these days? I'm assuming they are issued to our SF bioys and if they are issued, does Daniel Defense supply the 11.5 barrels with the LP gas block, same as they do with the 14.5? |

Test build, not the lower it will live on, used a SOCOM barrel just to put it together for now so I grabbed an SBR lower to avoid P&W until things are more permanent. Need a charging handle too.

So I recently picked up the DD mk12 gas block from PA for my URGI build, and just read about how thats not exactly the right one. I also have a 14.5 DD mid barrel on the way. Will the MK12 work, or do I have to sell both and pick up the barrel with the low profile block preinstalled? Just hand fitting the block within the mk16 rail, there is a tiny bit of clearance allowing it to fit in without touching the rail.

You can either modify the gas block or sell it and get a lower profile one. A shaved FSB fits better than the Mk12 or Geissele. |

Question for the team. I was able to get my hands on a DDC 10.5 MK16 rail, but it is devoid of any P/N or NSN markings. Does such an animal exist?
Anyone know what the current item would look like from Geissele if I ordered one (once in stock, if ever)? Thanks for your help |
