Anybody that got Super Duty’s or Signature’s been able to shoot any groups yet?
I’ve seen a couple more on Facebook that have me a little worried (not talking about the one guy shooting m855) |

Any screen shots of those on FB? For those of us that don’t have it

I just posted a few with some thoughts from a first range trip today - over here.

I’m starting to wonder if Geissele’s quality and ability to produce things with “#superprecision” is floundering currently. I’ve seen so many varying issues that people are having (machine marks, ano differences aside) that it makes me think they’ve lost the touch that initially made them special. I do have a friend overseas that was issued one of those the new DDC 11.5” rifles; he reported they were dumped very quickly due to a safety message being put out due to walking trigger pins.
I think they’re over doing it and their quality is suffering greatly. I’ve yet to see a single group from any of their barrels come back anywhere near what I would have expected. Not a hater, I have 4x uppers on order that I’ve yet to have heard even a peep about. |

Quoted: Well that’s concerning as hell if it’s true. I already saw someone else post that they are in fact having their trigger pins walk on them after only a few rds on a DDC lower they just got. I’m very much on the fence to cancel. Someone else on the EE is already offloading their ddc receiver set too! View Quote |

Which G trigger are the pins walking on ? Besides the pins not being made correctly what else would cause the pins to walk a out of spec lower?

So you're saying it is capable of sub moa groups? Just depending on the load. View Quote I have seen guys try to group with a flexible flyer scope mount. Sometimes the scope is just bad and inconsistent. Or they are not shooting from position but moving the reticle each shot. or pulling shots and they think its something else. With factory Black Hills 77gn ammo our guns will shoot around 1 MOA in our testing. We don't handload but the barrel blanks that are in Hi Power shooters hands have shown solid sub MOA grouping. This is with careful barrel break in and tuning the load. Also a good experienced shooter. |

@sagmill
Should we expect the same from the signature series? Roughly one MOA with black hills 77 grain? Or is that barrel different than the ones on the SD? |

I posted a short review of my first range session with my BG MK1, there are some pictures of the rifle (you'll see the snow in the background) and then some groups I shot at 50 and 100.

I shot my 11.5 Super upper yesterday.
My setup has an SSA-E and a vortex Razor on an ADM scope mount. I wasn't really shooting for groups and was just having fun with different ammo. Federal premium was shooting about average 1.5 to 2 MOA at 100 yds. But I blame myself for being an inexperienced shooter as well as moving the POA a bit. I also blame my 1-6x scope which is not suitable for 100 yard groups and the SSA-E trigger which is not a predictable break. I did get a couple 1 MOA groups though when I tried really hard. My very loose barrel break in is shoot a couple hundred rounds then clean it with copper bore cleaner. Shoot another 100 and repeat. Usually for precision rifles the recommendation is 5-10 rounds between cleanings. However this is not a precision rifle and the 1-6 has been replaced with a red dot for 2 gun. |
