I'd love one for my 11.5 BCM, I'm tall AF so I need all the rail I can get that'll still clear my SOCOM can.

I don't know why it is so difficult for them to make a rail appropriate for a 11.5" barrel.
11.5" is the industry standard for a short AR-15. |
For the love of all that is good and holy.....please G man we need a 10.5 MK4/8 terribly!
10.5" Seriously. Why in the world is there no 10.5" MK4/8 rail? CMON Geissele! Fire up the money machine!! |
I'd love to see a Geissele rail in that length, but something other than a MK4 or MK8.

What the hell does that mean. Cmon now. The KMR is shit, with its barrel nut that is made of a soft cheese. The URX is a big dinosaur turd. CMON BILL GEISSELE I can feel your gold tooth tingling. https://i.imgur.com/XwJJ81o.png You cant deny the current market hard on for 11.5"! View Quote The KMR also doesn't come in DDC or Mlok (yet). |

I have a 12.5" barrel a 10.5 or 11.5" rail would be awesome. Have a 9.5" MK8 on there, sometimes I wish it were longer and MK14 sized.
You would get two guaranteed sales from me! Otherwise SLR will continue to get my money...
For fucks sake Geissele PLEASE make more rail length options. You're starting to disappoint.
A 10.75" rail for an 11.5" barrel and an 11.5" rail for a 12.5" barrel, preferably MK16, would be perfect if I had my wish. But it seems we're limited to KAC and Hodge right now for heavy duty rails for SBR's that aren't picatinny.

Alright, I got a dog in this race now, just got one of the Colt 11.5 heavy barrels in & I needs a rail, 10.5-10.75 Mk8 would be rad. Only real option at this point is a KAC URX 3.1. I'm trying to stay Geissele here, but you guys aren't letting me. The URX is fine for sure, but I know that the SMR was spec'd with minimal laser shift in mind & that's a big consideration & sticking point for me, when choosing a rail. I just don't trust anyone else but Geissele to do it right.
I've been trying to Geissele all the things for a while now, I have two triggers, an ALG rail, an AKT trigger & have switched over to go juice & very thin grease for my lube needs. Everything going forward will be as Geissele as I can make it, simply because buying Geissele, for me, isn't just keeping jobs in America, it isn't just keeping jobs in PA, it's keeping jobs the next county over. We need this rail. Oh & if we could get an option to pay the, what? $10 more & get the nitrided gas block instead of the stainless with rails, that would be awesome. It's awesome you throw the stainless in there, but I'd much rather just pay the difference & get the nitride over SS |

Count me in for a 10” mk8 rail. DDC, black, do, purple, pink idgaf
Yes. Yes Yes and Yes.
Right now the only thing I can find is a SLR 10.7 rail, but I'd much prefer to give you my monies. |
so speaking of rail lengths....
why did you make the 9.5" just a 1/4" too long to for a midlength barrel with a full front sight base? |
Sooooo we doing this or wut?
The URX seems like a major pain in the balls to cobble together & because laser shift is a thing, I keep coming back to the Mk8, but I needs it in 10-10.5-10.75 SOMETHING longer than current config Also seriously, whats up with them AKT Classics... needs 'em |
Add me to the list of those wanting a 10.5/10.75" rail. My 11.5 keeps begging me to replace the KMR and I've got money waiting to be spent on another trigger and a rail.
hell, add me in for one too. bought a colt 11.5" HRT barrel I planned to chop to 10.3, but now its looking like its going to be another complete upper. ill need a rail for it now
Yep...I'd really like to see a 10.75" MK8 as well.
Then I'd have to build another upper around the 9.5" MK4 I have on it now... You gotta admit Bill, this rifle looks horrible with all that barrel showing. Attached File |

Can some of these fall off the contract line?
05-632 10.5” Super Modular Rail MK10L 05-472 12” Super Modular Rail MK10 They must exist!!!! |
I’m hoping Bill and the gang are getting that 10.75” ready for Black Friday.
I have downloaded and installed the greatest "It's Happining" gif of all time if this works out.
Hopefully I can post it!!! |
