I have seen this before, however this one does look a bit different. On the one side it appear that the back of the right side of the upper protrudes over the lower, but appears flush on the opposite side. The front of the left side of the upper appears just below flush but appears flush on the opposite. I believe this to be a varience in the forging. On forged uppers and lowers, the exterior doesn't get machined at all, only the internal dimensions are machined.
I'd keep an eye out for any abnormal wear and notify us if it occurs, but I don't anticipate any. If you wouldn't mind IM'ing me with your serial number I'll pass that along as a notation made for our records.
