I removed the flash suppressor on my 9mm upper last night and was suprised to find what I think is an oddball thread pitch. It is not the 1.2 x 28 that I have seen elsewhere. Anyone have some feedback on this please... tia...

I beleive its 1/2-36 TPI. Colt uses the same thread pitch on their 9mm rifles. My E.R. Shaw 6.8 barrel has it as well for some reason where most 6.8 barrels use 5/8-24, the same used on most .308 rifles.

We use 1/2-36 on the 9mm to distinguish them from 223...223 brake on 9mm bbl equals major problem when fired. Steve/RRA
