I purchased, back in September, a 1K round case of Federal .223, 55gr FMJ loose packed ammo under one of the PSA "Daily Deals" which specifically stated that this product was good for the $0.05 per round Federal Ammo Rebate. The case of ammo was $300 and the rebate meant that I would be getting back $50 from Federal on this purchase.
Well, the ammo came in with no problem, and since then, I have ordered, and received more Federal ammo from PSA all of which also arrived with no problem.
Today, I started the process of claiming the promised rebates from Federal and during the process of entering the UPC code numbers from the products into the Federal rebate page, it kept telling me that the UPC code from that first 1K round bulk pack that I received from PSA was not valid for the rebate.
It appears that the UPC code on the case of ammo that PSA shipped to me was from their
last years ammo supply and therefore does not qualify for this rebate.
I'm sending the info to Federal anyway, to see if they might yet honor the deal, but I'm interested to know what PSA's position on this matter is?
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Not a happy camper.
