My awesome girlfriend gave me this for Christmas, it's just been on backorder for a little while and it finally came in. She originally got me the smaller one but after putting all my stuff in it it got pretty full. So I exchanged it for the bigger one, and while its a fairly big bag it holds all my stuff while still leaving room for ammo. Like all LaRue products, top notch quality.

I picked one up before Christmas (in black) and love it. Great range bag.
|
|
My GF got me one in MC For my B-day but unfortunately they shipped a small bag instead of the large that she ordered. I guess there was a mix up and the small bags got labeled as large. Still eagerly waiting for it's replacement.
|
|
I also got mine around Christmas... Felt cool at the range when a few people walked by and one guy nudged his friend and said, "Look... A badass LaRue Range bag"... Lol. I felt so tier 1, when I got home I smiled the rest of the day as I sat on my couch watching magpul videos.

Great Girlfriend!
I bought my wife the Pink one and she LOVED it! now I just need a LaRue 1911 to put in it! |

One more here... I was debating between the Range Bag and the Tactical Pro Shooters bag...
Know what tipped the scales? The extra pistol mag slots in the padded inserts, and the extra pouches on the outside ends. Keeping my tools in the end pouches frees up space inside for more ammunition, and since I only have the one pistol so far, I use the LaRue-embroidered pouch for my clipboard, targets, and other small flat stuffs... |
|
I am constantly amazed at how much crap I can get into mine. Ammo, tools, pistols, spotting scope, stapler, rolls of tape, several pairs of eyes and ears, Suppressors and on and on. About the only thing that doesn't fit is my rifles.
|
|
From the pictures on each bag's product page, it looks like the Range Bag and the Pro Shooter bags both come with a large outside pocket embroidered ....
You sure? |
|
I need want to make another order (about out of dillo dust!) and can't decide which bag to get.
Also in the market for a sling.. the rifle is awful heavy since I put everything on it. |

FWIW, I chose the Range Bag over the Pro Shooters bag... I know they look the same, but the RB has the added end pouches, as well as the padded dividers in the pistol rugs, as well as an additional two mag bungee slots per... I believe the RB also has a removable brass pouch (for policing up after you're done shooting...) |
|
The bag looks great but I'm not really into tan or multicam and black makes it hard to see in poorly lit areas. Wish it came in red or royal blue like the covert rifle case.

Nice looking range bag!
To 25MMSSG72, my ipad lets me view the threads with no problem in the regular arfcom version, but when i get to the reply window, it doesn't bring up the keyboard, so I have to open another window and use the arfcom "mobile" version ( which is graphically challenged) under tools at the top. I can at least respond from there. Check and see if your tablet will let you view and respond from there. Good luck. Quoted: My tablet must be Anti-2A, doesn't cooperate with Arfcom. |

s being facetious...
On my laptop, I type with 8/2... my "tablet" is a Kindle Fire, and I type with my oversized thumbs... |

Better to have (the space) and not need, than need and not have...

Big enough to use as a gym bag? Mine is on its last stitch. In a pinch, I could see using it as a gym bag... Just depends how dressy you want to get after your workout / shower... |

I cross read those sentances and thought you said it came with some LaRue-embroidered pistol mag pouches..... And I was thinking, I don't recall any thing embroidered like that aside from the bag itself... Upon shapening up my reading skillz I gets it now... |

Got my bag and first Larue product yesterday. Interestingly, the bag is big, but doesn't seem to have a lot of space in the main compartment. This seems to be a product of the sidewalls and space dividers. Still, should be able to house all the things I want to take to the range. I just thought is was curious as to how large the bag is yet how is really isn't very spacious.

I think no matter what size Range Bag I get, I'll fill it to capacity and still want room... |

I stand corrected. I actually went in and packed things in an orderly manner and now I have lots of space. And the carry strap is so sturdy I have no problem tossing a couple 8" AR500 appleseed targets in the bag. Fit perfectly between main compartment walls and the divider walls. Stoked on this bag and finally having somewhere to keep my pistol mags besides in the .50 cal ammo can with the ammo.

Woohoo! Got my bag in! It's awesome! Never again will I have to hunt around the house for range gear. What kind of range stuff are you guys stocking in your bags?

I have an ancient range bag like the LT regular one and that sucker can get heavy real fast. The big one must be a beast if you fill it up. I know, I know, go work out some more. But if you're walking from stage to stage at a match all that weight adds up over a long day. I guess we need a LaRue Range cart to go with the bags/cases. Hey Mark here's another new product for you.

Very impressed with the bag strength. I can load it will full pmags and it holds it's shape and carries very well. I need to get a count of total mags I can stuff in there. Not to mention the stylin logo on the front. I have a LT Rifle bugout bag, you can stuff a lot of mags in it too. But when I go to the range I need a PU or SUV to carry all the stuff I take. |

Why is it most manufacturers space the notches so close together? Either the bolt handles or the scopes or other add on hit each other. Then you have the 'easy' out design which leaves so much room unused. I have a Liberty Colonial 50 and it's hard to fit ARs in there. You need a riser on the floor or a 16" or 'riot guns' are too short too. I need some other locking storage for things that don't need a safe but need to be secured. |

Like 50 bucks. One side of it is stacked with Yellow Bins from Home Depot that I put all my Magazine for each type of rifle or pistol, the other side is filled with boxes of ammo sorted by caliber... The lower/bottom shelf has .30 and .50 Cal ammo cans stacked... Sadly, they are not all full of ammo... Some are parts, some are tools, some are ammo, some are ... etc.. etc... etc... |
