He's got a Recce barrel in the works too. He attends the EAG class in Dane each year. This year he assembled a 11.5 upper the night before (Barreled, mounted scope, I mean from scratch!), and it ran like an absolute charm. Not one malfunction in 1500 rounds. The barrel he used was the same as the middy Recce one, just shorter I believe. He has them listed under barrel assemblies at the moment with some basic info on them. They are also coming. I'm with you though, I'm waiting for his mid-legnth 16-inch as well. The one I currently have on their I purchased basically to tide me over until his came available again...
The light is at the end of the tunnel. I know that he is currently working with the issue and is giving it much attention. Again, I don't want to speak for him, so I won't go into further details. It has been a long wait, but his adherence to the standards he has will mean that the end product will be that much better quality when it hits the market. These uppers have endured Pat Roger's (He can make anything malfunction due to the intensity of his courses.) and when they survive Pat, its one hell of a testament.
