I was able to dremel my way to get the BAD to function. Both the lower and the BAD lever have modifications but the M&P 15-22 lower seems to be thicker and is a bit trickier to engage the BAD lever. I may look into re-bending the BAD for easier use but the lever is great for clearing malfunctions. As we all know .22 are known for FTF's and FTE's.
Only problem is when the bolt is locked back "sometimes" during mag swaps/clearing, the bolt will release. So to remedy this I now use my left thumb (while rest of the hand is holding the mag) to support the bottom of the BAD while making mag changes (right index finger releasing mag) or clearing malfunctions.
ETA: I just broke the BAD lever trying to bend it for easier use. I was able to rebend but after the third rebend it snapped in 2. I was being greedy and had it rebent in a decent position, but she snapped when I tried to get a little more out of her.
So I'll add another BAD lever when I order my MAGPUL stuff for this gun.
