Here we go. New Harris bipod BRM QDP quick detach for picatinny rail. Seekins SRS picatinny rail. The Harris bipod won't slide on the rail or any picatinny rail. What's up with this, what am I missing?

No. I'm baffled. I can't find a picture of it mounted to a picatinny rail anywhere 😫 It won't even begin to slide onto the picatinny rail.

What about instead of sliding it you place one side in position on the rail where you want it and see if it will just rock onto the rail? @BravoCharlie |

So you push that button on left and the pin in the rail area drops and allows movement?

The rail won't go in, nada. I understand how it is supposed to work. That Seekins rail will not go in.
It is a picatinny rail I tried it on an AR15 top rail, no go. |

I don’t know how it works and why I asked. Never saw that set up before.
That said if the Seekins and AR are not fitting then there must be something wrong with the QD mount being out of spec. Contact the company. |

 Harris RotaPod RBA-1 rotating quick release bipod adapter 27 Sec range  RotaPod installation At start. If your adapter won't slide over any rail then I'd reach out to Harris/MIM Mfg. |

It was the Seekins Precesion rail. Tried the bipod on another picatinny rail and it worked perfectly.
 only me, right?

No, it didn't work on the other ar upper. I wouldn't force it, not my upper, but on the Anderson upper, it went on with no problem. On the Seekins picatinny rail, it's not close at all. Friend had the anderson and he tried it, went on fine, I tried it, went on fine.
Who knows? |
