Which rifle would you purchase for your first 3 gun rifle?

All in 308.

Just asking but is 308win a common caliber in 3 gun? I know they have a special division, but I thought most folks ran 223.

You’re right. I have a 223 I shoot, but was looking for a 308 to shoot in a couple different special comps.

Not sure of the other two but I have a lmt mws “cqb battle rifle” I think the only difference in mine is it has a 13.5” barrel with perm attached flash hider.

It’s fairly heavy but I am able to “run and gun” with it.

I set mine up with a vortex 4-16 pst and a Harris bipod. Mine has shot just over moa with fgmm.

The LMT is extremely heavy. It’s just part of its design. Pull out the barrel and just look at the quick change barrel sleeves. It’s ALOT of metal.

I had one and sold it after a year because it was such a heavy pig. Very nice, but very heavy.

JP or LMT.  Larue is over rated.

My LMT MWS full pic rail 16” was a moa gun and a fat pig. It was a dream to shoot, but sold it due to weight.

Went to DD5V1 which hasn’t faltered and it is slightly sub moa 168 gmm.

My REPR was heavy and softest 308 I’ve shot.

I too am looking for another 308 gas gun. Maybe a 13.5 LMT or a SR25.
