opening day 9 point, saw him twice during bow season.

Watched that guy all year, literally hundreds of pics of him, lopsided rack-kinda palmatted on one side.  I hadnt seen much of anything this year-a ton of doe last sunday and thats about it nothing moving all week-not even on the cams.  Went to hunt a different stand on the backside of the farm and saw those two plus like 5 or 6 more.  Never had seen that buck in that area before, I was hunting a bigger deer but couldnt turn him down when he stepped out--22 yards, She stayed in field after I shot him so I decided to finish my season out

260 yards. Savage 10PC .308 with Federal 180grain bullet. Vortex scope and SilencerCo Omega suppressor.  A guy 400 yards out said it sounded quieter than a .22lr.  Upper spine shot then finished with a neck shot.

got this guy after two days of high winds and decided to go stalking.  My brother was stalking towards me and this guy got kicked up by him along with about 12 does.

20ga H&R singles shot with Remington Accutips (I shoot it out to 200 at the range)

Took this basket 8 pt. on the fourth day of firearms season.  Saw the same buck two days earlier and passed on an easy shot.  When he came by the next time, I figured he wanted to commit suicide by hunter.

What is unusual about this guy is he is sporting the smallest 8 pt rack I've ever seen on my acreage.  Normal sized deer, but small rack.

Weapon is a Ruger 77/44 topped by a Nikon Pro-Staff 3x9x50 scope and loaded with WWB 240 grain SP.

This past Friday morning around 0930.  Over three days of hunting I counted 80+ deer, but didn't see anything that was worth shooting....until he rolled out.  Heaviest horned deer I've ever dropped...looks like he will score around 130.  Waiting for taxidermist to tell me for sure.

First deer taken with a revolver.  Two nice does, one 129 lbs live weight the other 120 lbs

S&W 610 (no-dash) with a 6.5-inch barrel.  Shooting hand loaded 10mm Auto, 200gr Hornady XTP, @~1250fps.

Shot in "Tactical Sequence"  Shot the near deer first, one shot and she drop right where you see her; I was in a deer stand about 40 ft to the right, 20 ft in the air.  Second doe (and a yearling) scattered at the shot but came back a minute or so later curious why the first was taking an impromptu mid-day nap.  The second doe got a double tap.  High shoulder shot first (would have been fatal passing through the arteries at the very top front of the chest cavity), she pirouetted once and a second shot that put her down for good.  The high shoulder shot on the first deer was a spine hit and though she was not going anywhere (I didn't know it at the time) she made an attempt to rise at the noise of the double tap so I gave her another one to the chest to anchor her.  Tactical Sequence!    All bullets exited even the spin hit.  I was really hoping to recover a bullet this year.
