Same here. I did get him on 12m earlier in the day for a new band, but 40 would have been cool.

Yeah, I had already taken down the stealth antenna and hit the rack, by that point.
I've been listening for these guys, but haven't had any luck so far. I did get the South Cook Islands last fall on 15 meters, though, so at least I have that check in the box. |

I was still up on 160 meters until 1 AM. Saw this post last night and checked but could not hear them at all.

40 has been good the past couple of nights. Algeria & South Africa loud and strong w/50 Watts & dipole Friday. There weren't a lot of people on the air. DX was having trouble finding QSOs.
Having fun figuring out this K3. |

As far as adjustments to the K3 go, I haven't really done much to mine. I mostly stay on the 250 Hz filter for CW, and that's about it. I really need to get that guide book that someone wrote.... |
