I'm canning my second and final batch (10 gallons now, 20 overall) of kraut, and wondering how everyone elses cabbage harvest was.  I managed to put together approximately 30 heads of cabbage to come up with about 20 quarts of kraut, packed heavily with about an inch of fluid at top.

We did some red cabbages this year that did quite well. We don't do kraut so don't have much need for a huge number of cabbages.
