I just got an IPOD touch and really like it!

I wanted to know what apps you all have that you can no longer live without.

I would like to only need FREE apps......If you have some cheap ones too of course that is good too.

Of course this section with have the best info.  I would not post this in GD.....

Thanks!

I tried to search some with no results....

I also have an I-Touch. I don't think I have any apps that I can't live without.
However, I have a few freebies that I like (not in any particular order):

Fox News - gives me quick updates and alerts
MRE Info - If you like MRE's
Pandora - Free internet custom radio stations
TV Guide - I travel a lot and it's nice to be able to see what is on locally
Weatherbug and Weather Channel - Still trying them out, not sure which one I like better (only have the free versions of both)

The bad news is these all require an internet connection, so don't work if you are in an area with no wi-fi.

Because it is a great survival tool.  I can take a picture of the car license plate that is following me.  I can email, I can browse the web to find out how to make water safe for drinking.  I also have many entire survival books on PDF that I can read.  I can also view my home's security cameras, view a downloaded street level map of my city, use it as a shadow compass, view downloaded topo maps, make skype video calls, view emergency twitter feeds, learn morse code, study for the ham tests, and use a free shot timer.

I think my favorites in order are these:

Netflix (Single most used app I have!)

Pandora

Scanner Pro (This allows you to take a photo of anything and it saves the file as a PDF - I use it for receipts for work)

5-0 Radio

DirectTV (If you have direct TV - this will control your home DVR and easy way to see what is on and when)

Trails (GPS mapping program - save tracks, waypoints, etc)

Topo Map (Just a Map Reader program but uses free USGS maps)

Facebook (Laugh but in a crisis it's a way to stay conected)

FTPOnTheGo (it's a full featured FTP client - store files on a web server and you can get them on your iphone or other device)

Fox News

Flashlight (Flashlight but also strobe light effects)

Pasword Keeper (encrypted and it has a self distruct option if wrong passwords are entered to open)

Compass

I have a few others on my iPhone but these are the ones I use most of the time (Netflix and Pandora are used a LOT with WiFi at work and home).
