Actually my first roomate at Ft. Campbell in 1987 was French Canadian. Hate to say it, but he was a good guy. We were on the 3rd and top floor of the barracks. He used to hang a big Canadian Flag on his window for all to see. Pretty funny acutually in fact he gave the flag to me when ETS'd. I still have the flag.
His name is Ronald J. Mallete if any of you Frenchies know him. No Slack! |

I was born and raised in Cuba.
I volunteered for the draft at 17 and when I came out of the service and applied for permanent residency, I was told that because of my service the 5 year wait was waived. I was shortly thereafter given naturalization papers and my US CITIZENSHIP. All that for volunteering to be inducted and a well deserved trip to the RVN? [:)] |
