First off can we tack this? OK I posted this in GD. But will post it here as well to help out fellow brothers and sisters. This is second hand knowledge that I will be calling about for myself later this week. I knew that LEO got discounts but had no idea that any and all EMS people (including military + reserves ((active only) you cant be retired in all cases though). We get the LE discount guys. I had no clue. You can get a glock 17 for xample for about $390 OTD NIB. This is with factory fixed standard sites though. However you can get whatever sites you want at an additional discounted price. You cant just go to any dealer though you have to call this number and ask them about it and they should give you a list of LE dealers or state distributors that you can go to to get it. I dont know all of the details though. I read a thread on glocktalk and this is how I found out about it. So if any of you guys know about this please do tell (details). Heres the number 1-770-432-1202.

Hey, Kevin. Why did your thread in the GD get trashed?

Oh and I got another G23 last week... $430 out the door!

Don't know why it got trashed. Maybe because Iposted it in here. Maybe to prevent poeople from getting pissed off? Dont really know to be honest. I was just wanting to let everyone know about the deal. Hell I'd like to know about it if I didnt know about it. I dont work for any gun co or own a gun store or anything like that. For those of you who knew about this and have already done it (espically from ohio) please tell me more about it. Is there only one place that you can go to in ohio to get it I live inbetween cinn and dayton ohio. Any info on this would be great thanks guys.

Five o I think you hit the nail on the head. I mean crap I cant tell you how many hours I have voluntered over the past 12 years. Oh boy someone wants to give me about %20 off on a gun. THANK YOU GLOCK. I think that it is a very stand up thing for them to do. BTW guys and gals tell all of your gun friends this. I told some of the other fellow gun nuts at my firehouse and they all had no idea as did I not know this. Let them know about it. One last thing for Ohio folks, Roy tailers (not sure if this is the way its spelled or not) is one of the three places in Ohio you can go and get the discount. There is another one in Columbus and one other one that starts with a "P" that I have never hear of. Roy Tailers is in cincinnati.

Yes they give a le discount and I beleive they extend it to firemen too. My local police distributor is oklahoma police supply and last year they had a big sale. It was open to fire fighters. I know it is only on guns that are designated for le and not all the ones they had were. They quoted me $429 for a new Glock 39......taking donations

I had bought my G27 then two weeks later at another dealer he told me about this deal.  Could have saved about thirty five bucks; no big deal.  This dealer told me that he just points me straight to Glock and he doesnt make a penny on the deal; sound right?

I'm sure that the dealer makes some cabbage on any gun he sells no matter who is buying it period. Hell if you don't make any money on what you sell eventually you go belly up. I don't believe that one at all. He may not make as much money as he would like to but he still makes money.

Awhile back the sale to LE was mentioned here and a bunch of losers from GD came over here and started griping about the fact that Glock offered the deal to LE but not to the general public.  They were promptly

When I bought my 1st generation G22, I paid 365 out the door w/ 3 mags. I miss those days.

I was just given the price of 475 with night sights and 390 without for a Glock 22.  You have to go to a Glock LE Dealer, not just a Glock Civilian dealer.  He explained it to me on the phone and said anyone belonging to a public service agency with an I.D. get the discount from Glock.

If you don't have a Glock LE dealer in your area or they won't "play ball" go over their heads.
Although I didn't know they extented it to FF & EMTs.

Call Glock directly and they will send you a "Individual Officer Price sheet" and form with purchase instuctions. The firearm still has to be sent to a dealer though for pick up.
It also shows options and accessories. Tel. # (770) 432 1202 Ext. 230
The price sheet I have is good until Dec. 31,2005

Don't take a dealers word for it on the price you are getting for your LE Glock!
They may try to rip you off buy charging more or keeping one or more of your mags or telling you it came with 10 round mags and keeping your more valuable hi-cap mags!
That is called STEALING and they would have more to worry about then just getting into trouble from the law STEALING from ME!
