Wish me luck, guys.

Taking the Captain's exam tomorrow at 0900.

If any of you crusty old salty dogs have some sage advice at this late hour, I'm all ears.

Thanks man.

We only hire from our reserves, but yeah - quite a few new full-timers over the next month or so.

First portion was a combination written/scenario.  Pretty straightforward, bread and butter stuff.  Found out today that I'm moving on, so we're off to a good start.

They've got us scheduled for an Inbox/Outbox assessment, oral board, and a Chief's interview over the next couple of weeks.

As it was said on the Chicago Police Dept for promotional exams. You need to study only 3 books. The phone book, the prayer book, and the bank book. Good luck
