So I just "retired" after playing cops and robbers for the last thirty years. Having said that, I have received my LEOSA ID card from my last agency, identifying me as a Retired LEO.  I also have a state CCW permit.  Does anyone have/carry liability insurance for LEOSA and or CCW?  If so, who do you use?  Will they cover you if you travel to other states that may not be as friendly as your home state?  I travel to NYC once a month, which wasn't a problem while I was active but now I'm a little more concerned about my liability.

(I say "retired" because I don't start getting my pensions for a few more years when I meet age thresholds. I did 3 years as an Army MP, 14 years as a deputy sheriff, and 13 years with the USG.)
