remember, under Federal law LE creds are not enough to transfer LEO mags on, you need a letter of approval from your chief/sherrif on department letterhead for that specific type of mag.

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Individual officers MAY dispose (ie. trade, sell, give away) Restricted magazines and/or weapons, provided that both parties are LEOs. There is a different process, requiring a letterhead, for ffls to do this.
ASO544...If it makes you feel any better, call ATF compliance in the closest major metro city near you. They will give you the straight on this. |
