Well, I'm a law student and will be graduating soon.  I would love to one day have a job perhaps representing gun manufacturers or other groups and companies that need help in maintaining 2nd Amendment rights.  I've called some of the major names in gun manufacturing, but they don't seem to have large legal departments.  I assume for their big cases they just retain big NYC firms and such.  

Are there any places that I should be looking???

Skadden in Chicago does firearms defense IIRC.  Maybe you could call the manufacturers and ask them who they use for law firms.

Or, maybe, you could do a quick Lexis search and find some info.  I found these people defending a firearms case in Texas:
