I need the case in which the 9th Circuit ruled adding a VFG to an existing pistol did not constitue an AOW.

Thanks

Eh, I just saw your post about your new AR pistol and thought maybe you were looking for a way to attach one.  I'd want to, if it were legal.

There was a post on subguns that referred to the U.S. vs. Fix, but I couldn't find anything else on it.

I'm not familiar with a 9th Circuit Court of Appeals decision/opinion on this.

There is US v Davis but thats a district court ruling.

Even after being modified with grips, the pistols are
still "pistols" as defined above and not "any other weapon" as
defined by 26 U.S.C. section 5845(e).

Ok, thanks Phil.

I found the US v Fix ruling in an old thread I had archived on my machine, the Davis ruling will help pad my letter to BATFE.

ETA:  Uh... which US v Davis???

Google spits out a bunch of drug related cases, nothing I can find yet in relation to this matter.  Any idea on which court or perhaps a year for the ruling?

Thanks
