is it ok for me to drive from nc to va and sell a firearm to somebody longarm type take a copy of there dl and ccw and then go to my ffl and tell him i sold it to this guy and to keep him on record?

No, this violates Fed Law!

NO Interstate sales of any firearms unless the sale is consummated thru an FFL.

Buyer can buy from FFL in your state or his/her state, but no private transactions interstate.
