Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - BATF background check

I am purchasing a class 3 firearm in 2 months when I turn 21.  However, I know that after filling out the Form 4 there is a 2-3 month waiting period for the background check.  I am wondering if there is any way that I can do the Form 4 material and start on the 2-3 month waiting period now, so that I get it all validated as soon as I turn 21.  Thoughts?

No, you have to wait until you are 21 before mailing the application.
