I just purchsased a BM rifle from Kieslers Wholesale.  I wanted to get a new bbl and sight fit on it so I had Kiesler send it directly to Bushmaster with the intention of them sending it to my local FFL.

Gun is paid for and at Bushmaster.  However, BM now says that they cannot do this and that it has to go back to Kieslers before coming to me!

Is this correct?  I wouldn't have tried this in the first place if both Kieslers and Bushmaster hadn't both told me before I bought it that such a transfer would be fine.

Who's right here?

Thanks,

Dave

Legally, it could go direct from bushmaster to your FFL.  Bushmaster may have a policy requiring that it go back from whence it came (not drop-shipping firearms).

OK, just talked to Israel (sp?) at Bushmaster and he was really cool...everyhting's fine.  Just kind of freaked out when the person I talked to earlier said "no, no" and my CC said -$$$...if you know what I mean.

Have spent to much time talking to middle men and just got conflicting messages.

Looks like everything is squared away now.

Bushmaster customer servive seems quite responsive!
