Speaking of DVD's, I got Art of the Tactical Carbine 2 for Christmas and the second disk won't play in my DVD player. Any chance of exchanging that?

I love shooting from an aerial platform - miss those SOTG days

Release date on the handgun one? What he said. The handgun one I'd get, but the only "aerial platform" I'm getting on is the deck around my pool. |

You know half of arfcom is going to rig up a red ryder wagon on a tram system in the trees out back, and practice shooting targets after they buy this DVD. |
|
Glorious, now to wait for the pre-orders to start.
The Youtube info has the release dates for Feb 2010. |
|
Awesome!
The handgun DVD looks very interesting, probably pick it up when it comes out. Keep up the good work MagPul. |
|
Quoted: How about a SHTF video series? How to eat lead and shit bullets like Chris Costa? Brilliant! |

NICE!
I enjoyed and learned a good deal on the other videos....I'm sure these wont disappoint! |

will the aerial operations dvd cover shooting at neighborhood cats from my second story window? cause if it does, I'm in!
|
|
Fucking fantastic!
And thumbs up to you guys for finding ways to make a living off of your skill-sets outside of military and contract agencies! |
|
Handgun vid has certainly piqued my interests.
BTW... don't know if you are aware but your Tac Carbine set has like 3000 downloads on a certain warez site that ends with "oid". You might want to look in to anti-rip protection or unique water marks or something on these dvds. |

|
I was disappointed in Art of the Tactical Carbine v2, but watching the handgun preview gave me a little chub... will order

Fuck. Yes. Watching that gave me bad ideas. Bad ideas. |

We here at TNVC were very honored to be part of Magpul Dynamics Aerial Platforms. Some of you probably saw this thread http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=2&f=209&t=180386 where I was shooting out of a helo. This was part of the training ops portion of the video. During this new DVD, you will see a good amount of NV operations as well. Ya see, using a IR laser from the ground is just as effective from a aerial platform as well. In fact it's probably one of the most viable and important tools to have in my opinion during a NV aerial interdiction. In one of the scenarios on the video, you will Travis actually tracking a bad guy on a motorcycle all the while he employed an IR laser on the subjects back while moving at 40-60knots. That is just a small tidbit of some very effective training Travis and Chris show to this unique trade craft entitled Magpul Dynamics Aerial Platforms.
In today's world, the LE communities face new challenges like never seen before and these aerial operations training, (mostly reserved in the mil circles) will bring the community a wealth of knowledge base that will assist them greatly. Travis and Chris once again show and display an incredible amount of knowledge to the subject matter that I know will help the community in a great way. I was even privileged to give a NV presentation as part of the DVD that we hope may show the value of NVD's in an aerial environment. In closing the video has some of the most breathtaking aerial footage taken by day and night and it was a great event to be part of. Vic |

Well since there is a DVD, does that mean that your aerial platform class is going to be opened up to civilians now? Please say yes.
|
|
I got The Art of the Tactical Carbine 1 & 2 for Christmas. Lots of good info. They really made me re-think some things.
And I'm glad to hear that there's more stuff coming out. I can't wait! |
|
If it's anything like AOTTC, I can't wait for the handgun DVD.

No Blu-ray?... All the DVDs were shot and edited at 1080 (HD) so a BluRay version is a possibility in the future. |

Awesome awesome awesome! Really looking forward to AOTC II and the handgun DVDs.

Boy is my wife going to be pissed when she finds a helicopter in the cellar

See, this is just part of the reason why companies like Magpul & LaRue are so successful.
They understand good marketing - no shitty, tiny lo-res pictures of products. Instead, we are treated to hi-res, clear, crisp photography. Magpul has taken it a step further, putting their products on display in a well produced training DVD. Finally, someone in the gun world with business sense. |
