I can remember watching the riots in California after the Rodney King debacle. I can't imagine what's going to happen after he loses in 2012.

A blizzard of lawsuits with the media screaming "racism"? Yes. I'm hoping that his defeat is a blowout. A  so epic that there's not a chance anyone on the left that opens their mouth about a "stolen election" is going to get any traction with it. |

Honest truth is he will more than likely not be defeated. The country is moving further left each year as we've seen the last three elections in a row, and each successive new generation is Liberal based. Not to mention the favorite candidate, Huckabee, has been blamed for the murder of those 4 cops by most of the public...and they will remind everyone again when election season gets here. Palin is considered clueless in Political knowledge, and Romney isn't holding much water. We just don't have the numbers to compete with the Libs. Not to mention Florida and its 21 electoral votes is now a Liberal state due to all the refugees moving in from California and the Northeast (we see a ton of California/Northeaster plates in Florida), and even North Carolina went Liberal due to these same people moving in and taking jobs in the Technological area of Raleigh/Durham. 5% is a BIG margin in Politics, and anyone that's majored in Political Science knows that already.
But no, there will be no SHTF scenarios and no Revolution, we live in a modern Police state. Anyone who tries to get frisky will be made a very quick example of by the National media and then in the courts. |

I don't believe a lost election will be a huge factor in unrest. On the other hand, if something bad happened to him and a crazy white man "took him away from [them]," I think it would make the Rodney King riots look like a Phish concert.

No. As far as I can tell, a lot of intelligent black people consider him a joke now too. It's only too bad they didn't use their brain in 2008 but that's another matter.
Typically, people who riot for stupid reasons are cowards just looking for shit to steal and break. This crosses all races. I doubt the race of a politician will motivate these losers. |
