I'll be buying one of these two guns tomorrow.  Both are priced exactly the same, I shoot the same with either, and they both feel comfortable. Which of these would you choose and why?

I have a micro-compact 1911 and it's just too heavy some days. I'd like something that's a little lighter weight.

Glock 26 by far, but you may wanna check out the G19's, too.

I much prefer the XD Sub9 to the G26 due to the ergos.

roy d...having said that, I carry a G19 because it's better than both

Assuming I shot both well, I'd go for the Glock 26.

I couldn't shot for crap with the G26, and it always felt funny to me, so I ended up and carry the XD9sc daily.

I also carry and highly recommend the G19.  Of the two, I'd go with the G26 because of the frame width more than anything.  XD's always seem to ride high in my hand and they seem a little bulky up top.

YMMV of course.

i like my xdsc even though its a little bigger that the g26 because of the grip safety and the loaded chamber and cocked hammer indicators.

that and mine has been filled with sand (after having sex on a beach but thats another story) and hasnt skipped a beat.

ive got a pierce grip extension on mine.   they also just look better in my opinion

Go with the XD!

I prefer the XD over the Glock, my personal choice due to grip angle.

Never had an issue with mine and I shoot it well.

Try them both and then make your choice.

+1 I think the G19 is the overall best, most versatile handgun on the market.

XD-9sc, it fits my hand and points better.  the new 13 round mags are nice, i dont like carrying only 11 rounds of 9mm in a weapon.

ETA:  i dislike the glocks in general because of the trigger safety only.  i know if you keep that trigger guard clear you will be alright, but shit happens, particularly when re-holstering under stress.  i like the XD's because i can holster like a traditional double action with my thumb on the cocking indicator.  this keeps the grip safety engaged and locks the slide in place during the holstering action.
