customer told us that he saw an internet ad for a Heckler & Koch p-30 in .40 cal.  we were not able to find such a thing, and we've never been offered one by any of our suppliers.  we're a pretty high volume ffl, so we get offered the unusual / hard to get items as a perq.

has anyone seen one of these?

the customer said it was different from the regular p-30 in that it did not have removable side panels, and he said he was sure it was not a 45.

I think he was talking about the HK P2000 .40 S&W and called it the P30 by mistake.

On the H&K USA site it says "P30S model has an ambidextrous safety lever mounted on both sides of the frame. Available in 9 mm and .40 S&W."


It is/was supposed to come out in 09 from what I was originally told/heard but with HK nothing comes out on time.

i showed him a p2000 along with the 9mm p-30 and a 45, just to make sure he meant it when he said it was a p-30 in .40 cal.  we could probably sell ten of them in a week, if we could get them.  i think the customer was confused.  thanks for replying.
