Well it started yesterday as really wet snow, didn't think it'd stick around. Here's what it looked like at about 4 pm yesterday.

And it's still snowing this morning. Wood pile was all covered with snow, took a few minutes to dig out enough wood. Good to go now.

My poor tortured little pup on the trampoline. He loves every second of it.

And the happy result of cold hands....

Some of the wood was wet so I grabbed my brother, and my Cold Steel Trailmaster, and he grabbed his tomahawk. I just got my Trailmaster back from the factory. I've had it for years and have abused it pretty bad. They cleaned it up nice for $10.
Anyhow we chopped some firewood into smaller pieces. Took about 10 minutes only. That freakin knife went through everything when baton ed. My baton broke a couple times the wood I was chopping was so hard. But everything got cut.

I'm jealous. Our snow storm didn't even snow enough to stick in the valleys. The mountains got a bit, but not as much as I wanted, or was expecting.

Send that snow here!

Holy crap.

I've never seen snow like that, lol.

Today's high is 85, low of 70.  Currently 77 and cloudy.  AC is kicking.

Got my plow on my four-wheeler and a big Kubota tractor with a Front end loader.

I still need to get my chains on my four wheeler.

Just tried to take my Son to work at the Olive Garden (No way his Honda would make it out of the neighborhood). I live on the South side of Cheyenne, and the OG is on the North. Got to the onramp of College and I-25 and said fuck it and had him call and say he wasn't coming in. Last year I took him in and as I was driving out of the parking lot he called and said they were closing for the day. I can't see many businesses staying open for long today. Visibility is going to shit with the wind picking up, and roads are crappy as hell. Tons of Semi Trucks are everywhere just idling...I have a feeling they are not going anywhere any time soon.

If that much snow fell in Texas, it would be a mass casualty event.

Keep it.

I had to torture the little dog some more by throwing him in a few drifts, so here it is. I'd actually been out in my bare feet takin the trash out already. I've been runnin around barefoot in snow since I was a little guy.
