if your systems are functional, or youre waitng for feedback from a vendor, you have to do something to stay alert while you monitor your applications.
i actually feel guilty about it, they dont pay what we're worth and there's no prospect of advancement, but we do have (semi-)secure employment. i try not to get caught, and be available if something breaks. hey, i'm here and awake, isnt that enough? |

I'm sitting here in the lab with at least 3 computers on. I have two at my desk, plus my laptop.
I gotta do SOMETHING while waiting on a compile, place & route, download, analyzer capture, etc.... So I surf the net or watch cable or DVDs. Sometimes all three! I also have 6 or seven video monitors and three HDTV sets and a surround sound system.... A day in the life of video equipment and set-top box development! [:D] |
