Can someone explain to me just exactly what the hell is going on in this picture?

my guess on what he's doin in that pic is eihter running a mission reherasal hense the no mag, or just posin for the camera. don't have an explanation for the cord on the carry handle.

The coiled telephone cord is for his communication device. If you follow the cord down you can see a telephone receiver looking thing dangling there. As for the no mag, who knows. Maybe there's an 8 rounder in there.

Boy the "Marine Cover Fire" and "Marine Recon" pics would be better if they didn't have BFA's on the weapons.
