Morning cutie

Heres a pic I snapped a few days ago here in North Dakota looking across the prairie over a sea of sunflowers .
Its the end of the season for them as they appear a bit wilted.

So pretty. Truth be known, I'm not crazy about flower beds which is why most of what I post are single blossoms, but I love mixed arrangements like the one you posted. And I love brick walks and edging; did you do those?

Mornin Jane, Heres some sunflowers that grow near my gunclub back when they were peaking

I went out to find something good to snap for today but the only thing interesting was this praying mantis that I captured long enough to show my daughter. We watched him eat 2 spiders then let him go

I know what you mean. I was changing the oil in a car once and came face to face with one and just about knocked the car over coming out from under there

The only reason risked catching this one was I thought my lil girl would like it. Watching it strike and snatch up a spider was fascinating. To move so slow they are quick when they strike. They do follow your movements when you observe them. I'd swear they make eye contact.
