On my way home from a long day arguing in court in a neighboring District, a CSP officer pulled me over.
Trooper clocked me doing 11 over. Dead to rights. I politely rolled down my window and told him I was packing. He asked to see my documents. Asked if I was a DA. I asked if my suit looked that bad, told him I was private counsel. LOLZ for all. I showed him my documents. He asked what I was packing. BHP in .40. He nodded and we discussed the CSP's switch to the S&W M&Ps. Told me to slow it down and let me go. Polite professional and way too nice to this defense monkey. I'd of given me a ticket. Thanks trooper. |

Isolated incident. I wish I could say it was.... I've got a lead foot on roads in the middle of nowhere. The officers are always polite and professional. |

He'll be expecting you to take it easy on him if he's ever on the stand and you're doing the cross examination.

slow down and you wont get pulled over I know, I know.... The lawyer on the other side of the hearing drove past me and laughed his ass off. |

Honestly I think that may be the reason for the walk. Some attorneys think they need to get personal and try to insult officers. That's a loosing strategy and bad tactics in my book. |

Officer of the court.....what color line is that? Thin Black line?

One time I was asked howcome after I passede a truck i kept speeding up. All I could say was , nothing but open road as far as I could see.I got the ticket.

Typical LEO encounter that happens tens-of-thousands of times a day.
I gave everybody 15-over though. |
|
No way, all cops are just looking to raise revinue, they dont let anyone off without a ticket ever

From several encounters with CSP's from when I lived in Trinidad and Pueblo, I would rate them several large notches above other Staties from other states.
At one time they were called the 'Courtesy Patrol', as I recall. Maybe some of them still are... |

I'd have given you two tickets, one for having a High Power in .40 instead of 9mm and the other on general principles cause you're a lawyer.
What do you drive? I can see a possible third ticket. Good thing I'm not a cop. |

He asked you what gun you were carrying!?!?! HOW FUCKING DARE HE!?!!?!?!

Much better "pulled over" thread than the one earlier. Well, he wasn't doing 21 over either. |

I would have tasered you. And you call yourself a cop? I would of OC'd, tasered, followed by hickory shampoo. THATS how I prefer my excessive use of force |
