I own the K40 Covert. It is the same as the MK but with a 1/2 inch longer barrel. Great gun. Little punchy recoil especially one handed. Pretty manageable 2 handed. NEED A-grip to better hold the gun. I much prefer the all steel version

Hey, I was looking at the specs at the Kahr.com website, and it shows the combined weight of the k40 covert(25 oz.) to be the same as the 1/2" shorter mk40(25 oz.) How can this be?

I own an MK-9, its one of my favorite guns. I'm thinking about picking up a Glock 26 for carry due to the extra capacity, but the MK-9 will be kept because it is thinner and one of the best I have ever seen for deep concealed carry. The only thing I cant use it for is carry with a tux - unless I got a shoulder rig. Now if they would just come out mith a polymer framed MK-9 I'd be in heaven!
