Frankly, I've been suprised to see so many nerdy Engineers on this site. [:D] Therefore; this topic was inspired by the alarming number of posted replies from people in the Engineering sciences.

If you will; Nerds with Guns, unite and speak up!

EE in training. I am a senior in HS but at the end of the semester I will have ~40 credits which will be most of my prereqs at A(rizona)SU. I plan to take summer classes until I am out. I think that I will gradulate with a BSE in the fall  of 2004 and will probaly get a MS or MSE not to long after that. If all goes according to plan...

How old were you guys when ya finished school?

I was in the wrong path of graduateing relatively poorly from HS and working as a roofer before I found and earned both the fiancial backing and personal drive for college. At that point of my life I don't think I had the insite you do, Therouge.
That put me at graduating more than a few years older than you will. Stick to your guns. Enjoy the trip, work in a degree related field through college & gain some experience through work and study, dont get married in the process :),.........
Age is no substitute for experience.

Therouge,

I was 26 when I graduated. 3 years in the service with Uncle Sam before I started and then 5 years to get through college. Had to do 1 year of high school over after 3 in the service. Seems I forgot a lot of stuff.  I was asked "Did you really graduate from high school?".  I did do really well on the trig portion though.  I was a surveyor in the Army (82C20).

Same school, same degree, same year!  Did you have your Grad ceremony at the St. Pete campus, or the main one in Tampa?  Send me an e-mail at [email protected]... like to hear from you.
BTW, still write code (none of what I learned then); also act as DBA, network admin, and hardware support.
