it looks ok, but some games use tiny text that is indecipherable without an hdtv.

Well this is from someone who could give 2 shits about Hi-Def or standard as long as it is a good picture. It'll look just fine.

Looks fine on mine, but it will look a whole lot better when I get my HDTV in a few months. Keep in mind, the Red Rings of Death will always be in standard definition though.

I had my PS3 before I got a HDTV was ok cause its what I was use to, for shits and giggles one day I hooked it up to my 24" LCD WS monitor, couldn't stand how it looked on my old tv after that.

i got sick of not being able to take advantage of the graphics on my POS old TV, and hooked the 360 up to my 22" lcd monitor. much better

You can do VGA out on the 360, so if you have any sort of LCD monitor you should be able to hook the 360 up to it.
If you are playing single player games it shouldn't be that bad, but if you are going on live to play, keep in mind that everyone you are playing against that has an HD TV can see more of the game than you. |

LOL for the longest time, probably around 8 months I was playing my PS3 on my little 13in TV. I felt like a loser. Metal Gear Solid 4 and COD4, man what a waste of ability. Then I got an HDTV for Christmas, 26" Vizio, man that 1080P is niiiiiiiiiice!

there is a selector on the cable IIRC for hidef or regular tv's.
itll be just fine. mine ran on a regular tv for about 6 months until i bought a new one. |
