I think we have already passed the enough point. What we need now is a catalyst, we need to get into the streets, July 4th should be a national day of protests. Shut down the fireworks, disrupt government funded activities, be a pain in other words.

Do we need a militia forum, req. ARFCOM loadouts, physical conditioning, rally points?

Like mentioned above, only when the sheeple feel they are adversly effected. The sheeple can put up with alot more than most people think. they have been brainwashed for so long that as long as they can get to work, get thier starbucks and watch american idol, they have nothing to worry about. the sad part is that those of us that know better are labeled as domestic terrorists and painted in that light so the sheeple follow what the mass media tells them is correct and we (the non brain washed folk) are looked down upon as "those people".

The sheep will be so indoctrinated into the liberal policies that they wont even know that they are loosing everything until its to late.

While many/most of these SHOULD be tipping points, I'll bet that each and every one of them could happen simultaneously and we STILL will not get off our collective asses.

There will be a flash point - the question is will there be a critical mass that develops behind it and builds momentum regionally and even nationally?

You can bet that if things get out of hand here like in Iran now or France a couple years ago, the government will up the ante many times over to demonize the 'far right elements' - I would be surprised if we maintained uninterrupted access to internet/e-mail, GPS and/or cell phones. These technologies can be used to organize resistance and spread truth and as result they must be controlled in a government vs the people scenario.

I'm guessing that there will be several flash points in the months ahead - question is will the response be a rallying cry or a whimper?

The 60's-70's radical leftists now teaching kids in colleges, the ones in politics, the ones in the bureaucracy everywhere are a minority. I guess some of them actually worked for the communists or were trained by them secretly (how is that for McCarthy-era tinfoil?) sort of like some of the "manchurian candidates" we've seen popping up now.

However, there is a majority of those baby boomers who produced more innovations and advances in science, technology and did things like fought in Vietnam and other areas

––those baby boomers who by and large are all we have left of what little experience and knowledge is left from better days, those people who actually learned how to think in schools across this nation, those All American baby boomers, might be all that stand between us and total collapse (when things do indeed, collapse)

Those same baby boomers who like any group of people, are divided equally as any other age group is

–– some being sensible conservatives and others being hippies, or yuppies who are worthless.

–– I don't think it's fair to lump them all together is my point.

They might have not taken a stand but they will be the pillar upon which our country is rebuilt.

The "tipping point" defined as the point at which the American sheeple will no longer tolerate its own government is now irrelevant. Who knows when that could occur.

The FACT is, that there are too many mines waiting to sink this ship for us not to hit one (or many more). Whether it be foreign countries not carrying our debt load any longer or any one of the many socialist entitlement programs that we cannot afford to pay for, we are DOOMED. Doesn't matter when the people lose faith... this engine is about to throw a rod regardless...

Obviously the baby boomers on this board are the good guys. And for that matter in a time of rebellion it's the people under 30 and over 50 that the government has to worry about. So clearly the leaders of any such thing would be baby boomers. That still doesn't change the fact that their generation ushered in the feel good welfare state policies of the past 30 years. Even the conservatives of that generation aren't very conservative. They're the Carl Rove neocons that think the answer is more moderation from the republican party. Times were great and thus they became progressives. And that's not even mentioning all the pure communists that are also baby boomers.

I was asked when will people wake up to the reality and I said it will be when the country can no longer afford to pay off the lobbyist, welfare leaches, and basically when people realize the government left them to starve and die. I was asked by my friend who is a police officer that will I obey the POTUS if he tells the military to take away peoples arms, I said NO. Our platoon and many others have talked about this, when the orders come down we will refuse to follow them and peel off the US army tape and walk away peacefully if possible. Many will have a copy of said order and we will upload it for all to see and maybe put major pressure on the Feds to back off. He said if any government official ordered us to give up our arms would we. I said I will, but it will bullets first and they can peel it out of my hands. For those who say that will never happen at all, look at the history books and compare it with to do. They are almost the exact same things being pushed.
