She's still learning her fundamentals, but is doing a good job being safe.

She's hitting paper 7-8/10 @ 10 yds...not too bad for a 7 yr old.

She shooting a Sig Mosquito. She already refers to it as "my gun".

Cute kid and good for you. She'll know an important life skill that a lot of her peers won't. I taught one of my friends the basics of shooting and while she isn't a gun nut, she now has her little "rapist pistol" in case something bad happens.

This pistol has about 1500 rds through it and will now function pretty well even with garbage ammo.

She was running Remington Thunderbolts through it. She shot 200 rds with only 2 failures... 1 FTE and 1 FTF.

nice job dad. i started my kids very young and now they are in their late teens and very proficient and capable. they argue over who gets my guns when i kick the bucket....but that's not gonna be for awhile

This one is 5 yrs old, he's eager but he's not quite ready to handle firearms yet...

I bought it with her in mind anyway!

Ultimately, all of my guns will be divided amonst my kids. Hopefully they'll appreciate them.

Each kid will be getting a Bushmaster AR15, some other EBR's, a Fudd huntilng rifle each, .22's, a little bit of C&R stuff and lots of handguns. They'll be set, including lots of mags/ammo.

Hopefully they'll all take an interest in it. I'm about 100% sure my 5 yr old son will be, and my daughter, of course, is already hooked.

I saw some little 7-9 year old girl shooting a P22 a while back. Took me by surprise since I though she was a teenager from a distance. Those pistols sure don't fit well in my hands, but they seem perfect trainers for kids.

That's really cool. Wish I had that kind of opportunity when I was her age.

My son has claimed my suppressed P22. He's 9. We went out over the weekend and he ran an entire Fed 550 value pack through it. He loads his own magazines, the whole 9 yards. He was mad I only brought 1 box of ammo.

So, I let him drive home.
