Waxman must be on the payroll of the the gun industry.
He just sold me on a .50 caliber. I mean, I had been wanting one before, but now that is all I can think about. That video was awesome. Thanks Waxman! |

"I have slap rounds which are armor piercing... er slap rounds are [b]'Special Lubricated Armor Piercing'[/b]..." I thought SLAP rounds were "Saboted Light Armor Penetrator" rounds. Who were these idiots on the phone?!? And this? WTF is this and how is it "damning" to the .50? "Agent: Good. You know, I'm very happy to see that we'll be able to do business here, because, I'm a little bit concerned, because here on the East Coast when you go to buy ammunition—these large, heavy-duty .50 cal—they ask a lot of questions. Dealer: Oh. Agent: And I don't like people asking me questions why I want this ammunition. Dealer: Well, see, they use them out here for hunting. Agent: Um huh. Well, you could say I'm going to be using this for hunting also, but just hunting of a different kind. Dealer: (laughing) As long as it's noth-nothing illegal. Agent: Well, I wouldn't consider it illegal. Dealer: Okay. Alright." Maybe Waxman should actually try to do something WORTHWHILE while he's in the House? -Gloftoe |

Was that actually Weaselman on the phone? I've never heard his voice so I have no idea.
I like the whole "armored limousine" spiel. That's pretty creative. It would really worry those limousine liberals that people who have the money to shell out $7000 for a rifle and $4 a round for ammo, pass all the background checks for purchasing the rifle, and can transport a 29 pound 57" rifle to a rooftop might be able to kill them. I wonder how many ammo dealers this guy had to call to get these reactions? I bet ya that a dozen or so guys probably hung up on the dipshit as soon as he mentioned the "armored limousines." |
