I'm gonna change the plugs in a friends mid 90's civic, but don't know what brand to use. what do you guys think?

You better go with the most expensive brand from autozone. It's really important that you have the best sparkplugs money can buy at autozone.


Seriously I hear NGK are better for our foriegn motorcycles so I assume that is the answere for cars as well.

jap engines seem to prefer NGK plugs.

NGKs would have been factory for Honda.

I will most likely get shit for this, but NGK is all I run in anything. Yes both my '88 K5 and '89 Suburban run NGKs.

NGK.

I used to work for Kragen auto and once had a guy come in to buy plugs for his honda, I told him NGK were the only plugs I'd put in it. He didn't think they were "expensive" enough so he wanted the +4 Bosch instead, I told him they would run like shit, but he bought them anyway. Came back later that day saying his car was idling rough and ran like shit and wanted to exchange them for NGKs.
