Vice president, former AG, state senator indicted
Houston Chronicle McALLEN, Texas — A South Texas grand jury has indicted Vice President Dick Cheney and former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales on charges related to the alleged abuse of prisoners in Willacy County's federal detention centers. The indictment criticizes Cheney's investment in the Vanguard Group, which holds interests in the private prison companies running the federal detention centers. It accuses Cheney of a conflict of interest and "at least misdemeanor assaults" on detainees by working through the prison companies. Gonzales is accused of using his position while in office to stop an investigation into abuses at the federal detention centers. Another indictment charges state Sen. Eddie Lucio Jr. with profiting from his public office by accepting honoraria from prison management companies. The indictments were first reported by KRGV-TV. |

They're indicting him for investing in a company? How the hell does that work?
|
|
This is just the beginning - just wait till Obama and his cronies take over.
Expect to see Cheney, Bush, Gonzalez, Ashcroft, etc get brought up on charges. |

Good lord... Somebody better get disbarred over this one... Meh. They'll get a U.S. Attorney position. |

Indictment for an investment... oh yea this is going to go far.

I thought that Dick Cheney had all of his investments in a blind trust so that he did not know where the money was and would not unduly influence things.

The looney left has been talking about this for eight years.
They want their pound of flesh for impeaching Blow Job Bill. They'll get it any way they can –– even if it destroys their credibility. Every new regime must shoot members of the old regime in town square and leave their bodies to rot in the sun as a lesson for those who remain . . . |

Are you trying to imply that 'liberals' ever had any credibility? I'll need proof of that. |

If they do prosecute anyone for stock investments, it will cause a further plunge of the stock market. In fact, I bet that the market will never recover from such an event, but I have always thought that Obama wanted to destroy this country.

If Cheney, Bush, Gonzalez, Ashcroft, etc get brought up on charges, it will set a precident. Then, if and when the political winds change, it will be Obama and his cronies that will have to defend themselves. I don't see this going anywhere. |

News of the day after January for one administration offical or another.
|
|
I figured the crazies would wait for Obama to suck on the UN crackpipe and allow BushCheneyHalliburton to be put on trial for "war crimes".

|
Last day in office, Bush announces proactive pardons for all and thumbs nose at libtards.
|
|
Looks like Dick Cheney needs to invite a few of these people on his next hunting trip

...and January 19, 2009, Marshall Law declared by the Lame Duck, because Obama mistakenly had Bush's indictment go out one day to early... The Saga Continues...lol What's this about a Marshall law? Is that the law that says you must use a Marshall amp to play in a rock band? |

the rich only get richer ...and the poor get poorer. Is there anything wrong with that? The rich keep doing things that make them rich. The poor keep doing the things that make them poor. Seems pretty logical to me. If the poor would do things that would make them rich, pretty soon they'd be.......rich. |

It's time to fight fire with fire.
The right needs to start putting these leftist loons who think election fraud is par for the course up on charges. I'm talking about the people who organize it. You know, the type who are "community organizers" for groups such as ACORN. |

That part of Texas is hard core Democrat. It is a show trial, nothing more.

Boy, the Dems are shooting themselves in the foot faster than I thought they would.
The next 4 years are going to be a non-stop circus. |

Not to sound unfaithful to the republican party, but who gives a shit about dirty dick anyway?

Well if I had a million laying around I would definitely invest it, and if I had investors or inside men in my back pocket telling me how to make more then I would be in the same boat as cheney. |
