I saw a customer that part of his face the skin was purple, a deep blue/purple color, i thought he had had the remnants of face paint on, but i stood next to him in line and it was actually very bulged out, and had alot of bumps, ive never seen this skin condition on anyone before, what caused it?

Edit: Found what i think it was, a condition called "Port wine stain" Happens in 3 out of 100 people.

Birthmark? If so, it's not all that uncommon, but usually not that severe. BTW, I'm not a doctor but I did have a meeting at a Holiday Inn Express once 10 years ago...

Technically those "birthmarks" are a form of Hemangiomas. Benign highly vascular structures that when present in the skin discolor it purple. Like a bad bruise thats permanent.

When I was going through basic we had this one dude who had a huge one on the left side of his face. Poor dude,was a great guy. The SMG looked at him and said,and I quote this exactly: Don't worry son,we docs that can fix that."

To this day,I don't know how you could fix something like that!
