title pretty much says it all.  I need the text of the BATFE letter that essentially says it's ok to have an M16 carrier in a semi AR.  Need to show it to someone who is convinced that simply having an M16 carrier is a ticket to PMITA prison.

thanks.. pretty much answered what I was looking for in typical ATF ambiguous "it's not illegal, but if we're having a bad day we may try you fuck you anyway" fashion.
