Bakersfield Police say they've busted a major drug operation taking nearly a half million dollars in drugs off our streets.

Police arrested 26 year old Jaime Duran Jr.

Police say the arrest is part of an investigation into cocaine and methamphetamine sales in town.

Authorities searched a building in the 41000 block of Sierra Redwood and seized one kilo of cocaine, 95 grams of rock cocaine, one and a half pounds of crystal meth, 105 pounds of marijuana and two vials of steroids.

Combined street value of the drugs is about $450,000 dollars.

Police also seized more than $18,000 dollars in cash. Duran is in jail on various drug charges.
