I got spanked once for changing a certain Democratic Senator's birthday from 1938 to 1838. I figured it was subtle enough to slide through but there are people whose very existence must be to patrol Wikipedia like some sort of meth-crazed cyber hall-monitors. |
GD mods? |
No, kidding. When I first edited the page they were on it within a half hour. There is seriously someone who patrols the Arock, Oregon page waiting for someone to fuck it up?
No. But there is a sort of "active topics". If some page is seeing a lot of edits in short order, there is probably some vandalism going on.
we have software that watches recent edits, and watches for edits to pages you've edited. no meth involved. I'll note the guy doing the primary reverts is a blind guy, though.
I changed it so if you mouse over citation 1 it says "www.fuckuarock.com
