Do some of the reqiments still get piped into battle?


I understand pipers served as medics, and IIRCC there were pipers in the Queen's Own Highlanders as late as '74. I know becauce I saw it at Ft Carson about that time. (Some of the QOH and the 4th royal tank regt were there on some type exchange deal)

in the 1991 gulf war the 1st Bn Royal Scots Piper walked up and down the FUP  gettting the guys all stoked up before we assaulted the Iraqi Positions.
