You can read more in the News Forum, but I'll try to throw in the hows and where's in here...

1) There's a button/light next to where the profile button is (next to your logged in as name!)

Clicking on the light will take you to the IM home. There you'll see your messages, buddy list, and ignore list. Anyone on your ignore list will not be able to send you messages. Those on your buddy list will show which site(s) they are currently surfing and give you a quick link (their name) to send them a msg.

2) If you click on ANYONES profile, you'll see icons to IM them as well as adding them to either list. (Ignore and buddy.)

3) In posts you will notice a new icon to send someone an IM Message.

This should sum it all up...

When you have messages, the light by your name (next to profile button) will change colors and should be easy to spot.

This is all temp icons and buttons, but should suffice for the time being.

You can only send a message to one person at a time... and if you read the news forum, there are some limits...

Ok I screwed up a bit and will fix things tomorrow... the light flashes if you have any messages saved, should only flash with any unread messages... I will fix tomorrow... Im outta here for the evening!!!

I had an icon up there, but removed it cause it looked like too much... you can always click on their profile then the icon to add them.

If there's a demand for adding people from their posts then I will add the icon!!!

In your message list you can click on the name to reply, but yeah I get your drift... I've got a few changes in mind...

1) Add Buddy to forums next to msg (shoulda left it there...)

2) Add reply, buddy, ignore, buttons to messages...

3) Fix msg notification button for UNREAD msgs only to trigger the flashing...

4) IM homepage display message options better for replying, buddy, and ignore options...

That about cover it???

For now you just click on the little red DOT or flashing light next to your name... (right of the profile button!)

Things are being reworked in a big way, so the temp icons and buttons will be replaced...

I'm just soooooo busy, I couldn't waste too much time on the "fluffy" stuff!
